Softball Recap: Clinton Takes a Loss

Clinton fought the good fight in their extra-innings matchup against Cheyenne/Reydon on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Bears by a score of 4-3. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Red Tornadoes of the 7-3 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2017.

Clinton's defeat dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Cheyenne/Reydon, their record is now 20-12-1.

Looking ahead, Clinton will square off against El Reno at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Cheyenne/Reydon does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
