Softball Recap: Northside Takes a Loss

Northside was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They lost 18-3 to the Lee County Trojans. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Trojans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 12-0 on Tuesday.

Northside saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kadence Cooley, who went 1-for-2 with one triple and one RBI.

Northside's loss dropped their record down to 8-6. As for Lee County, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-4-1.

While Northside had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
