Soccer Game Preview: Southeast Bulloch vs. Calvary Day

The Southeast Bulloch Yellow Jackets will face off against the Calvary Day Cavaliers at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Southeast Bulloch is coming into the match on a four-game losing streak.

On Tuesday, Southeast Bulloch didn't have quite enough to beat Appling County and fell 2-1. While losing is never fun, the Yellow Jackets can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia soccer rankings (they are ranked 201st, while the Pirates are ranked 72nd).

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Calvary Day). Their defense stepped up to hand Beach a 9-0 shutout on Thursday. The Cavaliers haven't had any issues with the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Calvary Day pushed their record up to 5-3 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 13 goals over those three contests. As for Southeast Bulloch, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-6.
