Soccer Game Preview: Walnut vs. Etiwanda

The Walnut Mustangs are taking a road trip to challenge the Etiwanda Eagles at 1:00 p.m. on Friday.

Walnut is looking to tack another W on to their season record, something they couldn't quite do against Claremont on Thursday. Walnut and Claremont finished up their game with a 2-2 draw.

Meanwhile, there was early excitement for Etiwanda after they claimed the first goal on Saturday, however, they wouldn't score again. They fell just short of Claremont by a score of 2-1. Having soared to a lofty five goals in the game before, the Eagles couldn't push the score so high this time.

Etiwanda's defeat dropped their record down to 5-1-1. With that draw, Walnut's record moves to 6-2-1.
