Basketball Recap: Huntingdon's Luck Changes for the Better on Friday

Huntingdon hadn't done well against Central recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Huntingdon Bearcats snuck past the Central Dragons with a 45-40 victory. That's more bragging rights for the Bearcats, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The win snapped Huntingdon's losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 6-5 record. As for Central, they dropped their record down to 1-8 with the loss, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Huntingdon will venture away from home to challenge Bishop Carroll at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Central, they will welcome Philipsburg-Osceola at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Central is facing Philipsburg-Osceola at the right time seeing as Philipsburg-Osceola is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
