Soccer Game Preview: Lodi vs. St. Mary's

Lodi is 0-10 against St. Mary since January of 2019 but things could change on Wednesday. The Lodi Flames will be playing in front of their home fans against the St. Mary's Rams at 7:00 p.m. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Lodi took a loss when they played away from home on Wednesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They never let West onto the board and left with a 3-0 win. That three goal margin sets a new team best for the Flames this season.

They hit West with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Cora Yourth, Samantha Stone, and Isabella DaValle.

Meanwhile, St. Mary's hasn't lost a match since January 10th, a trend which continued in their latest game on Friday. They beat Lincoln by a goal, winning 1-0.

St. Mary's victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-2-1. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those six matches. As for Lodi, the win got them back to even at 7-7-3.
