Softball Recap: Fairfield Extends Winning Streak to Three

Fairfield waltzed into their match on Monday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They never let the Fort Madison Bloodhounds get on the board and left with an 8-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Trojans, who have now won eight games by six runs or more so far this season.

Fairfield's record is now 13-8. As for Fort Madison, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-8.

Fairfield has already played their next contest, a 9-1 victory against Cardinal on the 24th. Fort Madison has also already played their next match (against Centerville), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
