Pensacola Catholic is a perfect 10-0 against Pensacola since April of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. Pensacola Catholic is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They came up short against Pine Forest on Friday, falling 15-4.

Lela Laurence was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases and three RBI. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in stolen bases. The team also got some help courtesy of Morgan Smith, who scored a run and stole Two bases. while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances.

Meanwhile, Pensacola had to endure an eight-game losing streak dating back to last season, but that streak is no more. They blew past East Hill Christian 18-10 on Friday. With that win, the Tigers brought their scoring average up to 6.8 runs per game.

Sydney Jauncey made a splash while hitting and pitching. She pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits. Jauncey was also big at the plate, scoring a run and stealing Two bases. while going 2-for-3.

In other batting news, Pensacola got a massive performance out of Reigna Robinson, who got on base in all five of her plate appearances with three runs and four RBI. Another player making a difference was Ka'Riya Rancifer, who scored three runs and stole Five bases. while getting on base in three of her five plate appearances.

Pensacola's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-5. As for Pensacola Catholic, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-4.

Everything went Pensacola Catholic's way against Pensacola in their previous matchup back in April of 2024, as Pensacola Catholic made off with a 21-5 win. Will Pensacola Catholic repeat their success, or does Pensacola have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
