Softball Preview: Lithonia Bulldogs vs. Northview Titans

Lithonia is 0-8 against Northview since October of 2020 but things could change on Thursday. The Bulldogs will head out to take on the Titans at 5:30 p.m. Lithonia has given up an average of 16 runs per game this season, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Lithonia fell victim to Cedar Shoals and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They came up short against the Jaguars, falling 25-0.

Meanwhile, Northview got the win against Druid Hills on Wednesday by a conclusive 9-2. The result was nothing new for the Titans, who have now won seven contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Jordyn Burdick was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out eight batters over six innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off five hits. That's the most strikeouts she has posted since back in September of 2024. She was also big at the plate, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.
