Villa Park put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They came within four points of losing the streak, but they secured a 44-40 W against the JSerra Catholic Lions. That's more bragging rights for the Spartans, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Villa Park's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Bailey Roczey, who posted six points in addition to three steals and three blocks. Roczey is crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Olivia Sturdivant, who scored 14 points and five boards.

Villa Park's victory bumped their record up to 4-0. As for JSerra Catholic, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 3-1.

Coming up, Villa Park will take on Long Beach Poly in a tournament on December 1. As for JSerra Catholic, they will head out to challenge Lynwood at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
