Soccer Game Recap: Wasco vs. Chavez

After low-scoring totals in their previous four contest, Wasco brought some dynamite into their most recent match. Their defense stepped up to hand the Chavez Titans a 4-0 shutout on Monday. The win continues a trend for Wasco in their matchups with Chavez: they've now won nine in a row.

Wasco hit Chavez with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Arianna Bernal (2), Sonia Vargas, and Leslie Contreras.

Wasco's victory was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 6-8. As for Chavez, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-7.
