Fowler had won three straight home games and Danika Serrano did her part to make it four on Thursday. The Redcats were the clear victors by a 60-35 margin over the Avenal Buccaneers thanks in part to Serrano, who went 7-for-8 to rack up 19 points in addition to eight steals and seven assists. Serrano is crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least two every time she's taken the court this season.

Fowler's record now sits at 10-1. As for Avenal, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-3.

Fowler and Avenal will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next contests. The next time the Redcats see the court they'll take on Firebaugh at 6:00 p.m. on January 6, 2026. As for Avenal, their break will end when they face Liberty at 3:30 p.m. on January 3, 2026.
