Beckman waltzed into their game on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against the La Jolla Country Day Torreys by a score of 60-52.

La Jolla Country Day's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Mei-Ling Perry, who went 5 of 9 on her way to 17 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Mahlia Washington, who posted ten points and three steals.

Beckman is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.6 points per game.
