May Weis turned in yet another pitching appearance with fewer than two earned runs surrendered on Saturday. She struck out 11 batters over six innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off four hits. She was up against Mount Vernon and has quite the history against that squad, as she also had a great game the last time she faced them back in August of 2024. With that strong performance, Weis is now averaging an impressive 5.8 strikeouts per game.
