Baseball Recap: Centennial Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Centennial can now relate to. They lost 12-0 to the Redwood Rangers on Tuesday. The contest marked the first time this season in which the Golden Hawks were not able to get on the board.

Centennial saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Preston Shults, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Centennial's loss dropped their record down to 15-15-1. As for Redwood, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-10 record this season.

As of now, neither Centennial nor Redwood have any future games scheduled.
