Soccer Recap: Petaluma Victorious

After failing to score in their last game, Petaluma made sure to put some goals up on the board against Napa on Thursday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Napa Grizzlies a 9-0 shutout. Considering the Trojans' offense had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

Petaluma's win bumped their record up to 8-4-3. As for Napa, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-13.

Petaluma will square off against Casa Grande at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Napa, they will take on American Canyon at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. Napa is facing American Canyon at the right time seeing as American Canyon is stuck on a ten-game losing streak.
