Softball Recap: John Milledge Academy Takes a Loss + How To Watch

After flying high against Mount de Sales Academy on Tuesday, John Milledge Academy came back down to earth. John Milledge Academy came up short against Tattnall Square Academy on Thursday, falling 16-4. John Milledge Academy was not able to repeat the success they had when they faced Tattnall Square Academy earlier this season, when they won 6-1.

John Milledge Academy saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Breaze Jones, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one run. Jones has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last four times she's played.

John Milledge Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 12-8. As for Tattnall Square Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 12 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. John Milledge Academy will square off against Brentwood at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Trojans will need to watch out since the War Eagles have now posted at least ten runs in their last three contests. As for Tattnall Square Academy, they will challenge Calvary Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
