Ontario Christian is 8-2 against Linfield Christian since May of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Wednesday. The Ontario Christian Knights will venture away from home to challenge the Linfield Christian Lions at 4:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Linfield Christian will be up against a hot Ontario Christian squad: the team just extended their winning streak to nine. Ontario Christian was the clear victor by a 4-1 margin over Western Christian on Friday. Given the Knights' advantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 45th, while the Fighting Lancers are ranked 171st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Ontario Christian hit Western Christian with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Paige Mouw (2), Audrey Pudlik, and Raegan Bailey.

Meanwhile, Linfield Christian kept a clean sheet against Aquinas on Monday. Everything went their way against the Falcons as they made off with a 7-0 win. The Lions' defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last four matchups.

Linfield Christian pushed their record up to 13-6-1 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only given up two goals over those six games. As for Ontario Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 13 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 20-2-1 record this season.

Everything went Ontario Christian's way against Linfield Christian in their previous meeting back in January, as Ontario Christian made off with a 6-1 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Ontario Christian since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
