Recap: Burbank Titans vs. McClatchy Lions
The Burbank Titans suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Wednesday. They took a serious blow against McClatchy, falling 76-16. Burbank was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 38-10.
Despite the defeat, Burbank had strong showings from Aniyah Bufford, who scored seven points, and Larayna Osako-Cain, who scored six points.
Burbank has not been sharp recently, as they've lost six of their last eight matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-10 record this season. As for McClatchy, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-5.
Burbank will look to defend their home court on Friday against Grant at 6:30 p.m. Grant is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 58.3 points per game. As for McClatchy, they will head out on the road to take on Kennedy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Kennedy is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
