Soccer Recap: Foshay's Undefeated Season over After Seven Games

Foshay was the 1-0 winner over Harbor Teacher when they last played one another back in February, but their luck changed this time around. The Wolverines fell just short of the Monarchs by a score of 3-2 on Monday. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as Foshay came into the contest with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked eighth, while Harbor Teacher are ranked 53rd).

Alyssa Garcia and Nicole Plancarte scored both of Foshay's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 12 goals.

Having lost for the first time this season, Foshay fell to 6-1. As for Harbor Teacher, their record now sits at 6-0.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Foshay will challenge rival Port of Los Angeles at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Harbor Teacher is set to face off against their familiar foe Stella High Charter Academy at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday.
