David Emanuel Academy typically has all the answers at home, but on Thursday Pinewood Christian proved too difficult a challenge. They came out on top against the Eagles by a score of 9-5. The win was nothing new for the Patriots as they're now sitting on three straight.

Pinewood Christian's victory bumped their record up to 6-10. As for David Emanuel Academy, their defeat ended a nine-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 12-2.

Looking ahead, Pinewood Christian will challenge Edmund Burke Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for David Emanuel Academy, they will face off against Twiggs Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Trojans have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 9.73 runs per game on average), something the Eagles will no doubt try to take advantage of.
