Softball Recap: Centennial Takes a Loss

Centennial fell victim to North Bend Central and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They came up short against the Tigers, falling 10-0. The Broncos have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Centennial saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Sarah Payne, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one double.

Centennial's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for North Bend Central, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-3.

Centennial wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, an 8-0 loss against Lakeview on the 28th. As for North Bend Central, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 12-0 win against Fairbury on the 25th.
