Baseball Recap: Forest Takes a Loss

Forest fell victim to Buchholz and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They lost 9-0 to the Bobcats. The loss continues a trend for the Wildcats in their meetings with the Bobcats: they've now lost six in a row.

Forest saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Noah Schoncheck, who went 2-for-3 with one double.

Forest's defeat dropped their record down to 13-11. As for Buchholz, their record now sits at 22-1.

Coming up, Forest will take on North Marion at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Buchholz, they will face off against Providence School at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (the Bobcats have won 17 straight at home dating back to last season, while the Stallions won three straight on the road), something that'll have to change.
