Blanchard barely beat Bethany the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Lions never let the Bronchos get on the board and left with a 6-0 win on Thursday. Considering the Lions have won 16 contests by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Blanchard pushed their record up to 30-7 with the victory, which was their 14th straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.2 runs over those games. As for Bethany, their defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 19-13.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Blanchard beat the Bronchos by a score of 3-1 later that day.
