Volleyball Game Preview: Valley Christian Trojans vs. Coronado Islanders

On Wednesday, Valley Christian got the win against Rancho Bernardo by a conclusive 3-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-20, 25-15.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Coronado, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They skirted past Academy of Our Lady of Peace 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Islanders have posted since August 16th.

Coronado had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 24-26, 22-25, 25-17, 25-19, 15-13.

Coronado's victory bumped their record up to 25-4. As for Valley Christian, their win bumped their record up to 20-8.
