Preview: Carmichaels Mighty Mikes vs. Chartiers-Houston Buccaneers
Carmichaels is 1-8 against Chartiers-Houston since January of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Monday. The Carmichaels Mighty Mikes will head out on the road to face off against the Chartiers-Houston Buccaneers at 7:30 p.m. Carmichaels is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses.
Last Thursday, things could have been worse for Carmichaels, but they could have been a whole lot better as they took a 46-30 loss to Frazier.
Meanwhile, Chartiers-Houston entered their tilt with Monessen with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Chartiers-Houston beat Monessen on Friday by the very same score they won with last week: 47-35.
Carmichaels has not been sharp recently, as they've lost seven of their last eight matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-10 record this season. As for Chartiers-Houston, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season.
Carmichaels took a serious blow against Chartiers-Houston in their previous matchup back in February of 2023, falling 54-26. Can Carmichaels avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
