Football Game Preview: Los Lunas Tigers vs. La Cueva Bears + How To Watch

The Los Lunas Tigers will face off against the La Cueva Bears at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a four-game winning streak alive.

Los Lunas is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of New Mexico's top teams: Albuquerque, who was ranked 20th at the time (Los Lunas was ranked tenth). The Tigers strolled past the Bulldogs with points to spare on Saturday, taking the game 38-24. The score was all tied up 14-14 at the break, but the Tigers were the (much) better team in the second half.

Los Lunas had a senior duo take command as Martin Cordova rushed for 143 yards while picking up 7.5 yards per carry and Kaiden Reese rushed for 69 yards.

Meanwhile, a well-balanced attack led La Cueva over Eldorado in every quarter on their way to victory on Friday. The Bears enjoyed a cozy 26-7 victory over the Golden Eagles.

La Cueva's win bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Los Lunas, their victory bumped their record up to an identical 4-2.
