Basketball Recap: Santa Rosa Academy Takes a Loss

Santa Rosa Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat. They were dealt a 40-13 loss at the hands of the Lucerne Valley Mustangs. The Rangers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Mustangs apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

Mariama Jagne was Santa Rosa Academy's leading scorer, having posted four points.

Santa Rosa Academy's loss dropped their record down to 1-18. As for Lucerne Valley, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 15-8.
