Baseball Recap: Elba Comes Up Short

The Elba Lancers didn't have quite enough to beat the Newfane Panthers on Monday and fell 8-7. That's two games in a row now that the Lancers have lost by just one run.

Elba's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 6-5. As for Newfane, their victory ended a nine-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-14.

Elba does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Newfane, they will head out to take on Tonawanda at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
