Soccer Recap: Whitney Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Whitney can now relate to. They fell just short of the Woodcreek Timberwolves by a score of 1-0 on Tuesday. The Wildcats have struggled against the Timberwolves recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Whitney was without their leading scorer, Isa Hernandez, in Tuesday's matchup. With Hernandez sidelined, Addy Parsons got her first action of the season.

Whitney's loss dropped their record down to 3-18. As for Woodcreek, their win bumped their record up to 9-2.

Whitney will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Archbishop Mitty on April 2nd. As for Woodcreek, they will face off against West Park at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. West Park will roll in looking for their tenth straight victory, something Woodcreek surely won't give up without a fight.
