Football Game Preview: Benjamin Logan Raiders vs. Indian Lake Lakers

Benjamin Logan is 1-9 against Indian Lake since October of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Raiders will be playing at home against the Lakers at 7:00 p.m.

On Friday, Benjamin Logan was just a hair shy of victory and fell 14-13 to North Union.

Meanwhile, Indian Lake had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 13.5 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They claimed a resounding 45-0 victory over the Braves. The result was nothing new for the Lakers, who have now won four contests by 23 points or more so far this season.

Indian Lake's win came from a few key players Benjamin Logan will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Noah Shirk, who rushed for 93 yards and three TDs on only 13 carries. Brady Golliday was another key player, throwing for 200 yards and a pair of touchdowns.

One reason for the win was Indian Lake's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for four sacks. Aaron Rapp was especially locked on to Shawnee's QB and sacked him 2.5 times. Rapp is also on a roll when it comes to total tackles, as he's now made five or more in each of the last 14 games he's played dating back to last season.

Indian Lake's win bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Benjamin Logan, they now have a losing record of 3-4.
