Soccer Recap: Carlsbad Comes Up Short

After soaring to five goals the game before, Carlsbad was a bit more limited in their contest on Friday. They fell just short of the La Costa Canyon Mavericks by a score of 2-1.

Carlsbad's loss dropped their record down to 8-10. As for La Costa Canyon, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 8-6 record this season.

As of now, neither Carlsbad nor La Costa Canyon have any future games scheduled.
