            Softball Preview: Creekside Seminoles vs. Dutchtown Bulldogs        
        
		
        
        
            The Creekside Seminoles will venture away from home to  take on the Dutchtown Bulldogs  at 6:00  p.m.  on Monday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Dutchtown will  face off against  a team with plenty of momentum: Creekside extended their winning streak to seven on Thursday. Everything went the Seminoles' way against Forest Park as they made off with  a  21-4 win.
Meanwhile, Dutchtown won against Banneker  last Thursday with 19  runs and they decided to stick to that  run total again  on Tuesday. The Bulldogs blew past Morrow 19-7. The  victory continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their matchups with the Mustangs: they've now won six in a row.
Dutchtown got a  massive  performance out of  Myli White, who  got on base  in all four of her plate appearances with five  stolen bases, three  runs,  and two  RBI. Those  three  runs gave  White a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of  Alex Gomez, who  got on base  in three of her four plate appearances with five  stolen bases, three  runs,  and one  double.
 Dutchtown  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .781. That's the best  OBP they've posted all season.
 Creekside's record is now 12-3. As for Dutchtown, their record now sits at 10-13.
 Creekside suffered a grim  16-10 defeat to Dutchtown  in their previous meeting  back in August of 2024. Can the Seminoles avenge their  loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
