Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Pigeon Forge couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They fell just short of the Smith County Owls by a score of 6-5 on Wednesday. The Tigers' loss continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

Pigeon Forge's defeat dropped their record down to 26-10. As for Smith County, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 22-13 record this season.
