Tahlequah faced Moore in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Tigers narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Lions 6-5. This was payback for the Tigers, who suffered a 5-1 defeat the last time these two teams met.

The team relied heavily on Lilly Garcia, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. Rylee Stark was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.
