Heritage is 8-1 against Southern Wells since October of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Patriots will head out to take on the Raiders at 7:00 p.m. Neither of those teams managed to put together many points in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

Heritage's offense might be in the hot seat on Friday considering what happened against Bluffton on Friday. They were outmatched by the Tigers and fell 35-0. While losing is never fun, the Patriots can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Indiana football rankings (they are ranked 125th, while the Tigers are ranked 46th).

Meanwhile, Southern Wells played a tough contest on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They had to suffer through a 48-7 loss at the hands of Adams Central. The Raiders were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 48-0.

Heritage will have to contain Trey Slusher as he made an impact in Southern Wells' last game. He threw for 167 yards and one touchdown, and also rushed for 77 yards.

Heritage's loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 4-3. As for Southern Wells, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-5.

Everything came up roses for Heritage against Southern Wells in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, as the squad secured a 70-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Patriots since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
