Meanwhile, Ironwood Ridge scored first but ultimately less than Vista Grande in their game on Friday. They fell just short of the Spartans by a score of 16-14. While the Nighthawks didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Spartans 7-0 in the first quarter.
Although Ironwood Ridge took the loss, they still got scores from Jaiden Martinez and Cruz Valdivia.
