Soccer Recap: Serena Comes Up Short

Serena fought the good fight in their overtime match against Somonauk on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. While the 3-3 score might suggest a draw, it was the Bobcats who were credited with the victory. The Somonauk Bobcats got it done in the shootout by posting three goals to the Serena Huskers' two. The defeat continues a trend for Serena in their meetings with Somonauk: they've now lost five in a row.

Serena's loss dropped their record down to 8-13-3. As for Somonauk, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 13-4-2 record this season.
