Soccer Game Preview: Dinuba vs. Lemoore

The Dinuba Emperors will face off against the Lemoore Tigers at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Dinuba's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for seven straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Dinuba managed to keep up with Tulare Western until halftime on Friday, but things quickly went downhill from there. Dinuba lost 3-0 to Tulare Western. While losing is never fun, the Emperors can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 605th, while the Mustangs are ranked 271st).

Meanwhile, Lemoore was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against Mission Oak, falling 4-0. That's two games in a row now that the Tigers have lost by exactly four goals.

Dinuba's loss dropped their record down to 9-9-3. As for Lemoore, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-12-3.
