Soccer Recap: Tri-Valley Comes Up Short

Tri-Valley managed to slip by Dover the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Scotties came up short against the Crimson Tornadoes on Tuesday, falling 7-1. While losing is never fun, Tri-Valley can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio soccer rankings (they are ranked 301st, while Dover are ranked 130th).

Tri-Valley's goal came courtesy of Corbin Ryan, who's now up to 13 this season.

Tri-Valley has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-9-2 record this season. As for Dover, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 12-5-1.

Tri-Valley does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Dover, they will challenge Zanesville at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
