Mill Creek won the last time they faced Mountain View and things went their way  on Thursday too. The Hawks put the hurt on the Bears with a sharp  11-4 win. Considering the Hawks have won five matches by more than six  runs this season, Thursday's  blowout was nothing new.
Mill Creek got a great performance from  Ashlin Ilczyszyn as she  pitched five innings while giving up just one earned  (and three unearned) runs off   three  hits.
 At the plate,  Ronnie Wade was  incredible,  going 2-for-4 with one  home run, four  RBI,  and two  runs. She has been hot recently, having also posted  at least one  stolen base the last three times she's  played. Another player making a difference was  Carsen Faber, who  went 2-for-4 with two  runs, one  stolen base,  and two  RBI.
Mill Creek is  on a roll lately: they've  won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record  this season. The  victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 11.3 runs over those games. As for Mountain View,  they are  on  a  four-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 4-8.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mill Creek will square off against Brookwood at 6:00  p.m.  on Monday. As for Mountain View, they will take on Duluth at 6:00  p.m.  on Monday.
