Basketball Recap: Rosalyn Perez Key Part of a Team Effort in Buffalos Win

Alpaugh hadn't done well against Kings Christian recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Alpaugh Buffalos took down the Kings Christian Crusaders 43-24. The Buffalos didn't have much to brag about two games back, but this win makes it their second in a row.

Alpaugh got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Rosalyn Perez out in front who posted eight points in addition to 17 rebounds and six assists. The dominant performance gave Perez a new career-high in assists. Jazmin Juarez was another key player, putting up eight points and seven boards.

Alpaugh smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 25 offensive boards. That's the most offensive rebounds they've managed all season.

Alpaugh's win bumped their record up to 5-12. As for Kings Christian, they dropped their record down to 7-7 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.

Alpaugh will head out to face off against Wonderful College Prep Academy at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Kings Christian, they will welcome Laton at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Laton's defense has only allowed 26 points per game this season, so Kings Christian's offense will have their work cut out for them.
