Softball Recap: Pine Creek Beats Rampart for Their Third Straight Win

Pine Creek entered their tilt with Rampart on Monday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They put the hurt on the Rams with a sharp 17-0 win. The Eagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 11 matchups by seven runs or more this season.

Abigail *Abby* Stenerson made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with two runs and one RBI.

In other batting news, Kalia Winslow was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, five RBI, and three runs. That's the most runs she has posted since back in August. Another player making a difference was Grace Kempf, who went 1-for-2 with three runs, one triple, and one stolen base.

Pine Creek's record is now 14-3. As for Rampart, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-14.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Pine Creek will challenge rival Liberty at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Rampart is set to face off against their familiar foe Vista Ridge at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
