East Ascension came out on top against St. Martin's Episcopal on Saturday thanks in part to Ethan Blanchard's efforts. Blanchard pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. The effort also marked the fewest walks (zero) he has had since back in February of 2024. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one walk in three consecutive appearances.

Looking ahead, Blanchard and East Ascension are taking a road trip to take on St. Michael at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
