Softball Recap: Moore Extends Winning Streak to Three

Moore waltzed into their game on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against the Southmoore SaberCats by a score of 5-2. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 10-6 back in August.

Moore's win bumped their record up to 18-5. As for Southmoore, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 20-15.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Moore will host Choctaw at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Lions 4, the Yellowjackets 1.3) so any runs scored will be well earned. As for Southmoore, they will look to defend their home field on Monday against Edmond North at 6:00 p.m.
