Softball Recap: No Winner in Richton's First Matchup

Richton kicked off their season on Saturday but they'll have to wait until their next contest for a more definitive result. Neither they nor the Salem Wildcats could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 3-3 tie.

Salem's draw makes their record 1-0-1 this season.

Richton wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, an 8-0 win against Forrest County Agricultural on the 7th. As for Salem, they will square off against Enterprise at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
