Softball Recap: Metter Comes Up Short + How To Watch

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Metter can now relate to. They fell 9-5 to the Lanier County Bulldogs on Monday. The Tigers have struggled against the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Metter's loss dropped their record down to 15-11. As for Lanier County, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-6 record this season.

Metter does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Lanier County, they will challenge Wheeler County at 5:45 p.m. on the 29th. Wheeler County's pitching crew has only allowed 2.7 runs per game this season, so Lanier County's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
