Softball Recap: Waterloo East Comes Up Short

Waterloo East was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 16-1 to the Marshalltown Bobcats. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Bobcats this season, with their most recent defeat being a 13-0 loss back in May.

Waterloo East's defeat dropped their record down to 4-23. As for Marshalltown, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-18.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Bobcats beat Waterloo East by a score of 12-4 later that day.
