Football Recap: Cuba Takes a Loss

Saturday just wasn't the day for Cuba's offense. They took a blow against the Hozho Academy Wolves on Saturday, falling 50-0. The loss leaves the Rams still looking for their first win of the season.

Hozho Academy got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Brandon Bonaguidi out in front who rushed for 41 yards, and also threw for 63 yards and one TD on only five passes.

Cuba's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Hozho Academy, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-2.

Cuba and Hozho Academy will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next contests. The next time the Rams see the field they'll take on Navajo Prep at 6:00 p.m. on the 10th. As for Hozho Academy, their break will end when they face Newcomb at 2:00 p.m. on the 11th.
