Tomball Memorial came tearing into Tuesday's matchup with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 14 points) and they left with even more momentum. They snuck past the Tomball Cougars with a 49-43 win. This was payback for the Wildcats, who suffered a 41-33 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Despite the loss, Tomball still got an impressive performance from Kylee Symons, who went 5 for 11 on her way to 14 points and six rebounds. Danielle Oyakhire was another key player, putting up six points and 11 rebounds.

Tomball Memorial is on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 17-2 record this season. As for Tomball, their loss dropped their record down to 12-4.
